The Tenuta dei Baroni La Lumia stretches out over a total area of 150 hectares on the Licata plains, of which the 40 cultivated hectares enjoy all the elements that deem this territory perfect for wine growing: an unusually bright microclimate just the right distance from the sea, with thermal bath excursions available. The company only grows their own grapes exclusively, which have origins in local vines: Nero d’Avola, Inzolia, Nerello Mascalese and Frapatto, producing exceptional wines for their intensity in bouquet and taste. The arabesque-like farmhouse cluster, which the entire business radiates out from, is considered one of the most fascinating winery properties on the island. The whole productive practice today, from the wine-making to the processing, to the aging and onto the bottling takes place within walls of the farm complex, run under the personal direction of Baron Nicolò and son.
