The Torretta Zamarra group was started in 1977 and today boasts 500 members. It went on to become one of Puglia’s most solid and important agricultural companies, The soundness of the company along with the professionalism of the member producers and those who take part in developing and putting on the market such superior, natural wines has always meant a guarantee of quality. The winery covers a wide area of DOC, IGT red and white grape vineyards owned by the members for the production of table wines. The vineyards are located in the San Severo flatlands of Puglia. Trebbiano, Bombino Bianco, Malvasia Bianca and Verdicchio grapes are used for the production of IGT whites whereas Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo and Pinot Nero are used for IGT reds.
