The Ruffino property extends for over 1500 hectares, 600 of which are vines, with seven estates in Tuscany and one in Friuli.

130 years ago Ilario and Leopoldo Ruffi no paid homage to their passion for their land and the wines of the Chianti hills, setting up the foundations of Casa Ruffi no. Their motto has always been “to transmit the values of a land through culture. Because wine is also culture”. This is upheld by the Folonari family, the present owners of Ruffi no. The Ruffi no wine producing patrimony is constantly updated thanks to investments in the vines, the cellars and human resources. “The Ruffi no vineyard is an open air laboratory- explains Adolfo Folonari- the interpretation of wine producing in a cultural context means to have one eye on the past and one on the future, appreciate your roots and uphold the traditions of the Tuscan countryside. It also means to implement new challenges in territories that posses important potential for wine development”.
