In the valley extending from Pizzo Sampietri and the Campanaro mountain to the Cammarata mountain 700 meters above sea level, the Castellucci Miano Winery vineyards cover the Valledolmo district. It boasts a fertile and generous terrain where grapevines have flourished for centuries, and where one of the first cooperative cellars in Sicily was constructed in 1961. In 2005, thanks to the assistance of wine expert Tonino Guzzo, Castellucci Miano reached high quality standards of production. “The quality, validity, and sensory characteristics of our wines,” explains president, Nino Piazza, “are strictly results of mountain wine agriculture with the added benefits of cutting edge technology.”

The company is situated in the area of Valledolmo on the hillside of the Madonie Mountains and has been in operation for over thirty years. The 125 acres of vines fall under the territory of the Sclafani DOC district and Is where the wine have their origins. In the past few years a favourable, technological renewal has taken place allowing winemaking expert Tonino Guzzo to take full advantage of the areas potential, which is at an altitude of 500-900 meters. The company has received important recognition.
