“Fattoria La Striscia” has deep and ancient roots, traceable to the Renaissance. In 1800, Count Occhini Giovan Battista bought the Tenuta of Villa La Striscia. Then as now, the grape was Sangiovese. Careful vineyard management has enabled the production of “Occhini IGT Tuscan Red” wine since 2001.
