An intimate Resort
In Gardone Riviera, there is a truly charming and original D&B. We are at the Locanda agli Angeli very near to the Vittoriale and Andrè Heller’s enchanting botanic garden. The Locanda has 16 rooms available, 8 of which are located in an annex: pre-select one, if you can, preferably one of the rooms facing the square. In the kitchen, the gallant Enrico is sure to please. Share just one appetizer: magatello di Manzo affumicato e misticanza di insalate. The roll is also known as a girello (round). My advice is loud and clear: maccheroncini al bagoss, typical cheese of the Brescian Valleys, and olives. Main course: hamburger di luccio (pike burger) and crema di favette (creamed Fave beans) or coscia d’anatra al pepe ed uva (duck thigh with pepper and grapes). Wine: an appropriate Lugana.
