Nel verde Magazine: February 2008
The Renaissance left indelible traces in Urbino of a prolifi c culture reigned by a court that brought together big artists making it the centre of attention. The city well preserves this all over the historic centre, where there is the wondrous Palazzo Ducale (Duke’s Palace), a happy mix of art from the past and present. Urbino offers a special, multi-sensorial experience thanks to a novel museolgraphical route. Multi Vision Designer, Paolo Buroni created the contemporary installations aimed at updating the traditional museum concept. World-famous paintings and Palace environments are projected onto walls in four interactive rooms. Books can be read in the library in their virtual version: visitors “turn pages” of books projected onto walls through sensors and cameras.
