The 28th edition of BIT, Borsa Internazionale del Turismo is held February21st to 24th at the Fieramilano Rho to bring together those who wish to keep up with trends and opportunities in the travel industry. More than 140 countries will attend, including 20 “new entries.” “The World” area is located in pavilions 22 and 24, while Italian tourism is represented in pavilions 9, 11, 13, and 15. The 2008 edition of BIT opens with some tried and true events, plus a few new. One “returning” event is BuyItaly, a workshop that brings the entire Italian tourism industry and more than 500 international buyers together. Certicibit is a new exhibit “in pill form” of tourism focused on good nutritional habits and quality production.
