A visit to one of the many medieval hamlets dotted around the hills of Tuscany, Umbria or the Marches, a tour dedicated to art, trekking in nature parks, a gourmet trail around the wine producing towns, a trip for the kids to an amusement park….
with a camper its possible to choose one or two or even try them all. A type of holiday that enables you to discover Italy and its numerous tourist routes choosing from 8.100 municipalities due to increased facilities: 1.159 equipped stopover areas in total. 183 in Piedmont, 142 in the Marches, 134 in Emilia Romagna, 108 in Tuscany, 86 in Lombardy, 73 in Veneto and 60 in Sicily. The Association of Camper Producers (APC)-ANFIA, in collaboration with ANCI (the Italian Association of Municipalities) and from this year with the National Association of Wine Cities contribute to develop spaces for campers on the National territory with the initiative “The Municipalities of Open Air Tourism”. A way of making the administrative councils more aware and open to travelling tourism, creating a widespread network of stopover areas.
