Wine infused Aperitif

A happy hour in honour of Bacchus at Pane&Vino in Largo Carrobbio in Milan. The bar is open from morning to night, for breakfast or for nibbling a light lunch. A few days a week, on the other hand, it also hosts a wine scented aperitif. A wine card with more than 350 labels is ready to be enjoyed. At 6:00 every day, wine becomes the focus of tasting, advice, and purchasing. A sommelier who lifts the veil on the world of wine is available to patrons, explaining grape blends, serving temperatures, aromas, and pairings. One can relax in the outdoor space or in one of a few interior rooms, on the veranda, or, in the backyard garden. Altogether the bar accommodates up to 300 people. Besides the “institutional” card there is a weekly happy hour with 12 wines in rotation. Paired with the 12 wines of that particular week, there is a buffet with 12 culinary surprises: for example, if one orders a white wine, he is served a plate of shrimp scampi.
