There is no doubt about it: grape aquavit is a real Italian showpiece. In a world that has seen only a few producers that excel, top of the list is Roberto Castagner. Castagner is a veritable master distiller known for his “vanguard spirit”. Being on the cutting edge he ventures into new “creations”. The latest to spring to life is Acqua d’Uva and is added to the top line of the Visnà di Vazzola distillery in the Trevigiano area. The new product is a result of a constant and through research. Aqua d’Uva is, in fact, the fi rst-born of the “Vigne del cuore” project conceived in the cellars of the agricultural company of Fregona, in the heart of the Alta Marca. The project is part of a young, new business but is already studded with successes. Successes that have lead to turnovers of exponential growth in the last fi ve years giving satisfying two fi gure returns.
