Legendary Prosecco
Vino Magazine: May 2008
The Varaschin cellars from Valdobbiadene, in the countryside around Treviso, safeguard tradition. Time stands still in this location, which holds the secrets of the best Italian Prosecco. The origins date back to the ‘30s, when Matteo Varaschin inaugurated the cellars in San Pietro di Barbozza. Prosecco has been present on these hills for more than two centuries and it still conserves its original characteristics: topaz colour, fragrance and unforgettable tastiness. Varaschin creates historical wines like the “Fermentazione in bottiglia Sur Lie”.
