An evening at the Mokita Café
Bologna, Via Caduti della Via Fani 15 (BO)
Superalcolici Magazine: February 2008
The neighbourhood is unusual: the Bologna Fiera. The setting is highly unique. We are at the Mokita Café. “Wine bar” seems to defi ne it best, but this bar is also more. You have to experience it to understand it, in the morning at breakfast, during the lunch break, or in the evening for an aperitif, and fi nally at the end of the day with music and a wide selection of whisky and rum. The interior design is essential. The lighting is muted, blue and green during the day, yellow and red at night. A wide screen TV guarantees a continuous update of current events. For whomever prefers to work undisturbed, there is a little lounge in the back of the bar with couches, poufs, and two internet hook-ups. The entire bar is available to rent for birthdays, graduation parties, or bachelor parties.
